If you go the FSBO route, you’re placing all the ads, making sure all the disclosures are complete, ensuring repairs are done, and managing all the paperwork, showings, and open houses. 88% of sellers do not choose the for-sale-by-owner route because they’re emotionally attached, and they end up leaving money on the table.

They might be able to close in a week and let you stay in the home for a long time. iBuyers have specific formulas for buying homes. They’re looking at the age of the home and how many repairs it needs. If you have a home that needs to be fixed completely, you might want to go with the traditional listing professional.
