Three easy things you can do to prepare your home for the spring market.

Are you thinking about listing your home for sale this spring? With only 11 homes for sale right now, the Sedona market has very low inventory. Coupled with our current high demand, that makes now an excellent time to get ready. As a seller, here are the best things you can do to prepare your house for the spring market:

1. Floors. If your floors need carpeting, cleaning, or replacing, go ahead and take care of that. Vinyl plank, hardwood, or tile are easy to install and give your floors some snazziness.

2. Walls. Is your wall paint looking rough around the edges? Be sure to touch up any scuffs or scratches. It may also be a good idea to repaint the interior entirely to make the house look bright and light. Agreeable Gray or Swiss Coffee by Sherwin Williams are good wall color choices for 2022.

3. Curb appeal. Your exterior will determine people’s first impressions of your home. Make sure everything leading up to the front door has great curb appeal so that buyers become excited to see what your home is like inside.
